Dusty Soul...

I recently read a quote on Facebook. It goes like this:

"Imagine meeting someone who understood even the dustiest corners of your mixed-up soul."

I have no idea where it's from or who wrote it. But it's where the inspiration for the title of this blog post comes from.

Each and every one of has a dusty soul. Dusty from past relationships, situations, circumstances. I have never understood people who judge. Judge other people, not once glancing inside themselves to see what skeletons they withhold. Not once looking at themselves and wondering how they would judge themselves were they ever to confront those skeletons.

Because we all have baggage. Whether we're willing to admit it or not. I believe the sooner you admit it, the sooner you can learnt to deal with it. Whether it just accepting it exists or actually doing something about it (if possible, of course!)

But imagine. Just imagine meeting the one person who accepts you for who you are, for every cobweb that lurks in the depths of your dust-filled soul. Imagine spending the rest of your life with them. Whether it's a friend, a lover or family member. How wonderful it must be to have just one person like that, who knows everything about you, and yet does not judge, does not offer advice on how to 'improve' - they simply accept you. Accept you wholeheartedly for you and all your imperfections and flaws. And baggage. All the baggage that comes with.

How amazing that would be!
