Ouchouchouchouchouchouch!

Ok. In intense pain. But they're all dance bruises and/or gym exercise aches, which makes it all ok!

Have had a pretty intensive few days in terms of dance/gym - my gym trainer is hardcore and so is my choreographer. It all feels worth it though when I can hold my own body weight better using just my muscles, or dance like I've never danced before. Feels amazing, like I'm finally doing what my body was made to do, and so a little bit of pain seems nothing compared to the exhilarating feeling of freedom, of flying when I dance...

  1. It’s nice to be commenting on where your mind is at present.
Since last week I came across your blog, commenting on a few of your past entries; Insomnia, Love and Loss, Frustration, London.
I enjoy reading about your thoughts of life, as well as concerns – they’re very interesting and intriguing.

It seems you love to dance. I think we all should have something we love so much, that can take us away from the reality of life. It’s not that life is not what we want, sometimes an escape is just what is needed.
My escape comes from running. I can run so far, and for so long.
Reading is another love, alongside writing.

Well, I do hope your bruises and aches disappear soon enough, for you to once again feel the wondrous feeling of flying :-)

  2. Hey there VM2! Have just read all your comments - thank you so, so much! It's lovely to know someone's out there who likes reading what I write - the best compliment a writer can get I think. perhaps you should start your own blog. You writing is also excellent!

Yes, I do love to dance. It's the only thing that keeps me sane I think! Also love to read and write, the same as you :)

Take care of yourself. Should you decide to start a blog, I will most definitely be a follower!

  3. I’ve seen two types of people in this world, those who are selfish, and those who are selfless.
Those who are so very selfish only come to you when they are in need of services, they can’t provide for themselves.
The selfless individuals, are much like yourself, willing to give everything you have into a cause, but are often the ones who get stung the most!

Not to worry, I’ve been there, where you’ve been taken for granted, unappreciated, a feeling of betrayal consuming you.

For me trust is imperative, and if I don’t receive it I will not give it out very easily.

Some people, as I say, have no shame. They know what they are asking you is not warranted by their previous actions of selfishness, yet they still ask!
It is bewildering. But what can you do?
    Can you change these people?
    Can these people themselves change?
I’m mostly an optimist, but in these situations I am quite a realist, and the fact is some ‘dogs’ just can’t learn new tricks. lol

We’re better people, than those consumed with bitterness. Let God or the Universe deal with the wrongs they do.
    Let us go about our day, and at the end of the day when reflecting on the day gone by;
Have we gave all we have to this day?
Could we have done any better, or been any better?
Did we allow others to dictate our mood, and dissolve away all our traces of happiness?

You have a spectacular gift Shruti. It seems you are an amazing dancer! Unlike most, you don’t take your body for granted. You use it and appreciate it as the greatest instrument you’ll ever own.
Memories are there to bring us back from the brink. Only yesterday you were flying, so happy and so free in your dancing. I do believe you can be at that place again, in your mind, erasing all that has happened this morning.

    p.s.
I don’t think I need to start a blog to be honest, because when I read what you’ve taken the effort to write, the emotions and feelings which are portrayed feel as though they are that of a mirrored reflection. lol

  4. You are completely right in what you say VM2, there's just no point in letting selfish people like that drag you down. You should most definitely consider starting your own blog - as you say, it's almost as if you're writing what I'm thinking. Amazing!
