Based on a recent experience, I would like to ask the question - why do people only want what they can't have? And why is it that as soon as they get it, it's ok to take it for granted because you think you'll always have it? Or decide to back off because they're too afraid of getting hurt and didn't actually think about that in the beginning because they wanted it so badly?
Any thoughts?
Any thoughts?
Hey,
ReplyDeleteI didn’t stay away for very long did I. lol
It was just because, I felt as though I tainted you blog. And if a remark was to be made again by anyone, I would instinctively retort again, leading to another war of words and a further taint upon your blog. I don’t want to ruin you blog for you.
But, I do so very much enjoy discussing, thoughts that you may have, like this one :)
You know, I finished reading the Twilight books a few weeks ago now, and was looking for something else to read. I came across this book series by Lauren Kate, and the first of her books is called Fallen. It’s quite ‘young adult’ (which I didn’t realise until after I started reading, but oh well. lol).
Anyway, there is this girl, Luce, who’s been placed at a new school, a boarding school, for troubled teens. During her first week, she comes across two boys. The first is Cameron. He acts very kind and sweet. He pays attention to her and makes her feel special. But, there is another boy, his name is Daniel. He is silent and recluse. When Luce simply looked his way once, he ‘flipped’ her off! Most times he’s ever so cold towards her, and never shows any sense of interest in her.
Which boy do you presume Luce is drawn toward...
The boy who she can clearly have, because he clearly wants her... or,
The boy she can’t have, because he doesn’t have any desire for her?
:)
Ah I'm glad you're back! And glad you're not letting silly people from keeping you from commenting. Shit happens - you've just gotta get over it and move on, and not let silly people get in the way of what you really want!
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing she goes for the second one? And then has her heart broken by him?
In my opinion, if you want something or someone enough, you would do anything for it/them. But to want something just because you can't have it, and then back off from it when you do because you simply changed your mind, that seems a little unfair, no...?
Read your last few entries on your blog. Very profound :)
I agree. It’s very unfair. Very shallow. Spoilt may be.
ReplyDeleteWhat was it you found so profound about my blog entries, in the past month?
September has been very emotionally draining :(
Do you mean the relation they have to this?
Ps. Are you calling yourself a ‘silly person’? Because, you were the reason I stopped commenting! :-p
This is your sanctuary, your place to self express, no...? :)
Who am I to taint it?!
Lol, the only thing that tainted my blog was silly lady acting as if she knew everything about me and giving me advice as if her life depended on it or as if I'd insulted her personally! You have nothing to worry about :)
