I just read that the Japanese police agency has confirmed 9,083 people missing and a rising death toll (currently standing at 6,539) from the earthquake and tsunami. The horror of these people's lives is simply incomprehensible...feel so helpless not being able to do anything apart from send a few donations and masses of prayers for the country and its people. They came out of the Hiroshima and Nagasaki episode and made a recovery that can only be described as miraculous. Let's all hope and pray they come out of this too. God bless Japan...
